Built because diabetes
doesn’t wait for office hours.

I’m the father of a daughter with Type 1 diabetes. The problem was never abstract healthcare technology. It was the daily reality of helping someone you love manage diabetes at every hour — including the ones when the clinic is closed and you have to reason through it yourself.

I wanted her to have the equivalent of an experienced, attentive T1D parent available whenever she needed it: in her pocket, next to her bed, and especially in the moments when diabetes is hardest to think clearly about. At 2 a.m., information has to be understandable and immediately useful. When she goes to sleep, something should still be able to watch for what’s worth attention.

After years of living it, I built the tool I wished we’d had — a place where glucose, meals, insulin taken, activity, and family coordination are organized instead of scattered. Then it became clear the same information could do something else: give her care team a clearer record of what happened between visits.

That’s the whole idea. Families live diabetes every hour. Clinicians bring clinical expertise. INBO is built to make the information between those two worlds more useful — not to replace either one.
