Built for the hours
between appointments.
INBO brings glucose, meals, insulin logs, CGM context, family coordination, and quiet monitoring into one place — helping people stay organized and creating a clearer record for the care team.
For Type 1 and gestational diabetes · Coming soon to the App Store
Diabetes is continuous. Clinical care is episodic.
A person lives with diabetes every hour. A clinician sees that person a few times a year. The meals, insulin, exercise, highs, lows, caregiver moments, and patterns all happen in between — scattered across CGM apps, memory, and messages. INBO organizes that space, so the next appointment doesn’t start by reconstructing a month from memory.
The whole picture, kept in order.
INBO is a companion for living with diabetes — for people with Type 1 and gestational diabetes, and for the families who help. It never computes, fills in, or displays an insulin dose. Your numbers, your provider’s settings, and your own decisions stay yours.
See the current picture
Connect Dexcom, FreeStyle Libre (via LibreLinkUp), or Nightscout. Your reading, trend, and recent context are on the Home screen the moment you open the app — with honest timestamps, and honest notices when data stops.
Log without friction
Blood glucose, meals, insulin taken, activity, and medication where relevant — plus quick logging for the moments you don’t have time to stop. Insulin you take is recorded as history, never calculated.
Estimate carbs
Photograph a plate or a menu and INBO estimates the carbohydrates with AI. Every estimate is clearly labeled as an estimate, and you confirm or edit the final value — you stay in control.
Quiet monitoring
A set of narrowly-scoped background monitors you can turn on — each with one defined job, each writing an observation, not a directive.
Understand the pattern
Trends, time-in-range context, history, and meal-period context — so the recurring highs and lows become visible instead of anecdotal.
Keep family connected
Share your data with parents or caregivers, with roles and permissions that fit a family. Optional emergency-contact alerts for critical lows, on a consent-based SMS program.
You point. INBO estimates. You confirm.
Snap your meal or a menu and let AI do the first pass at the carbohydrate count. INBO shows its estimate clearly labeled — and the final number is always the one you enter. There is no dose anywhere in this flow.
- Photograph a plate, scan a menu, or describe a meal in text
- Save foods and places you log often
- Estimates are labeled as estimates, always editable
Narrow jobs. Plain observations.
INBO’s agents are not an autonomous AI doctor. Each is a small background monitor with one defined job, and each writes an observation worth discussing with your care team — never an instruction. You choose which ones to turn on.
Checks glucose, trend, and active insulin before sleep.
Follows up a couple of hours after you eat.
Watches how a high resolves over time.
Reviews the week for recurring highs and lows.
Flags settings worth discussing with your provider.
Notifies a designated contact on a critical low.
Availability depends on your setup, and most agents are off until you enable them. Gestational-diabetes users get their own dedicated monitors — see below.
A dedicated experience, not a relabeled one.
When INBO is set up for gestational diabetes, the whole experience changes — logging, targets, monitoring, and reports are built for pregnancy rather than borrowed from Type 1.
Fasting & post-meal
Readings are tracked in context against the fasting and 1-hour / 2-hour targets your care team prescribes.
Gestational week
INBO tracks the week of pregnancy and the visit cadence that goes with it.
OB visit prep
A one-page summary organized for the next obstetric appointment.
Dedicated monitors
Fasting Glucose Tracker and Postprandial Target Monitor watch the numbers that matter in pregnancy.
Targets shown in INBO are the values your care team prescribes — INBO surfaces them, it does not set them.
Designed to make the appointment more useful.
INBO builds clean visit summaries from your own logged data — glucose in range, meal-period context, logged insulin, and recent patterns. It brings a clearer record to the visit; it does not replace your clinician’s medical record.
- Time-in-range and average glucose over the period
- Meal-period context and recent patterns
- Logged doses and treatments — recorded, never calculated
- A gestational-diabetes visit report and patient summary
The whole practice on one screen.
Everything above lives on the patient’s phone. The physician portal is the other half: a web dashboard being built to turn continuous patient data into efficient clinical context — a working foundation today, with the clinical workflow built alongside the clinicians who will use it.
AI where it helps.
Deterministic logic where it matters.
AI assists with bounded jobs like understanding a photograph of food. The parts that must be exact — the clinical arithmetic and safety rules in the separate clinical-development edition — are explicit, testable software, not a language model’s judgment.
From patient companion to clinician-led population management.
INBO is being built toward a model where a health plan can sponsor the technology for eligible members, while a licensed clinical team uses the portal to organize the population and make the medical decisions. This is the direction we’re building — not a service operating at scale today.
The intended operating model — not current deployment.
It started at 2 a.m.
INBO exists because I am the father of a daughter with Type 1 diabetes. The problem was never abstract healthcare technology — it was helping someone I love manage diabetes at every hour, including the hours when the clinic is closed. I wanted her to have the equivalent of an experienced, attentive T1D parent in her pocket, next to her bed, and especially in the moments when diabetes is hardest to reason through.
Then it became clear the same information could give her care team a clearer record of what happened between visits. Families live diabetes every hour. Clinicians bring clinical expertise. INBO is built to make the information between those two worlds more useful.
Wherever you fit, there’s a way in.
